Official tickets. Each of the three museums sells its own tickets, in three different places. The Albertina sells in its online shop, shop.albertina.at, and at its box office. The Leopold Museum uses a booking widget on its own website. The Imperial Treasury sells through shop.khm.at, the shop of the KHM-Museumsverband, which warns that unofficial websites may sell tickets that are not accepted. We read all the prices below on 23 October 2026.

Book tickets and passes →The cards on our Albertina, Leopold Museum and Imperial Treasury ticket pages are a different product. They are tickets, passes and tours sold by our partner Tiqets, a third party. We are not the museums, and Tiqets is not the museums either.

What does Tiqets add, and what does it not?
Official ticket first, then Tiqets. What a Tiqets ticket adds is a mobile ticket, availability by date and a purchase page in more languages than the official shops. What it does not add is an audio guide, a guide or any extra access. It does not skip the queue either: the Treasury’s time slot applies to everyone, and the Leopold Museum says that its own online ticket also lets you in without waiting.
On refunds, the official Albertina and Treasury tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded, and the Leopold Museum says refunds are generally not possible for tickets with a date. Tiqets lists the Albertina, Treasury and combined tickets as not refundable, and applies its own terms to the Leopold ticket, which we could not verify: read them before you pay.
Tiqets lists the Albertina and the Leopold Museum themselves as the suppliers of their tickets. The official sites do not mention Tiqets, and for the Treasury we could not confirm any agreement with the museum.
How do validity and time slots differ?
The Albertina ticket is valid for one year from the date of purchase and admits you once, with no time slot. The Leopold Museum’s online ticket is valid for the day you choose, and a ticket bought at the museum is valid for one year; there is no time slot. The Imperial Treasury admits visitors only in reserved time slots since 1 April 2026: the ticket is valid for one entry on the day and at the time you choose. Under 19s enter the Treasury free without an online ticket. Check the opening hours of the Treasury, because it is closed on Tuesdays.
Who pays less?
Under 19s are free at the Albertina and the Treasury, and pay 2.50 euros at the Leopold Museum, where under 7s are free. The Leopold Museum also sells family tickets: 21 euros for one adult and up to three children under 19, 40 euros for two adults and up to three children. With the Vienna City Card the Albertina costs 18.90 euros at the box office, the Leopold Museum 17 euros and the Treasury 17 euros.
Combined tickets and passes
The official combined tickets are the Albertina’s ticket for all locations (29.90 euros), the Treasures of the Habsburgs ticket for the Kunsthistorisches Museum and the Imperial Treasury (32 euros) and the Empress Elisabeth ticket for the Treasury and the Carriage Museum at Schönbrunn (25 euros). The Leopold Museum lists a combined ticket with the Kunsthistorisches Museum at 37 euros, but we did not find where the official sites sell it online. The Vienna PASS lists all three museums as free entries, according to its website. We did not read its official price, and Tiqets sells it from 109 euros for one day.
Which option should I choose?
If you want the simplest way to pay the official price, buy on the official site. A Tiqets ticket makes sense if you want a mobile ticket, a purchase page in your language or the possibility to choose a date and see availability, or if you simply prefer to buy through them. Whichever you pick, read the hours and directions pages for each museum so that you arrive on time.
