Imperial Treasury opening hours and time slots
The Imperial Treasury is open from 9:00 to 17:30 every day except Tuesday, with admission up to 30 minutes before closing, and every visitor needs a reserved time slot. Some pages on the official site still carry old dates, so we mark what we could not confirm.

Closed on Tuesdays, except the dates listed above, which are the Tuesdays the official shop sells tickets for. The official pages carry no 2027 timetable and still show some 2025 texts.

Time slots
Since 1 April 2026 the Treasury admits visitors only in reserved time slots. The ticket is valid for one entry on the day and at the time you choose, and the length of the visit is not limited. Tiqets sells slots every 15 minutes for the Treasury ticket. Under 19s enter free and do not need to book online.
Tuesdays
The shop sells tickets for every day from 23 October 2026 to 31 December 2027 except Tuesdays, apart from these dates: 8, 22 and 29 December 2026, 5 January 2027, 23 and 30 March 2027, 18 May 2027, and 26 October, 2 November and 28 December 2027. That is how we know which Tuesdays are open. If your date is not on the list, treat the Treasury as closed.
Christmas and February
The official page still lists the Christmas hours of 2025 (24 December 9:00 to 15:00, 25 and 26 December 9:00 to 17:30, 31 December 9:00 to 17:30). For 2026 we could not confirm them; for 24 December 2026 a closing at 15:00 is likely, but check. In 2026 the Treasury closed for annual maintenance from 16 to 27 February. For 2027 the shop does not exclude any February date, so we do not know whether a closure repeats.
One more stale notice: the price page says “Today, Tuesday, May 26, 2026, we are open” when we read it. Do not rely on dated texts there.
Before you go
Coats, umbrellas and bags go to a free cloakroom. Photos are allowed for private use, without flash or tripod, and signs ban photos of some objects. Groups of more than 10 people must register. The official site lists guided tours on Saturdays until October (English 15:00, German 14:00); we could not confirm tours after October 2026.
